Hilary Vaughan, Associate

Hilary Vaughan is an experienced senior accountant with over 15 years experience from within the social housing sector, following a financial grounding in the private sector. She spent over 10 years in the Housing service of Manchester City Council at Directorate level, creating, then working in, Salix Homes before commencing her freelance career.

She has comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in the financial management of all aspects of local authority housing, which includes formulating housing PFI contracts, delivering partial stock transfers, ALMO start up and operation as well as business planning and housing subsidy. Hilary has a wide range of staff management skills gained over many years with briefs covering ICT, HR, performance management, service improvement and tenant involvement together with financial services. She also has skills and experience in change and project management.
